kimbap for 4 people Korean taste recipe

Kimbap Recipe (for 4 servings):

Ingredients:
1. 4 cups cooked short-grain rice
2. 4 large seaweed sheets (gim)
3. 8 slices of ham
4. 1 large carrot, julienned
5. 1 large cucumber, julienned
6. 4 strips of pickled radish
7. 4 eggs, beaten
8. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
9. 2 tablespoons sesame oil
10. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
11. 1 tablespoon sugar
12. Pinch of salt

Cooking Sequence:

1. Prepare the rice and let it cool to room temperature.
2. In a small mixing bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to create a sauce.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan, swirling it to ensure an even layer. Cook until lightly set, then flip and cook for another 10-15 seconds. Remove from heat and cut into thin strips.
4. In the same pan, briefly sauté carrots until slightly softened. Remove from heat and set aside.
5. Lay a seaweed sheet on a bamboo sushi mat or a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of rice evenly, leaving about 1 inch at the top free from rice.
6. Lay 2 slices of ham, a few cucumber and carrot strips, a strip of pickled radish, and a few egg strips on top of the rice.
7. Carefully roll the seaweed sheet using the sushi mat or your hands, applying gentle pressure to create a tight roll.
8. Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into bite-sized pieces, wiping the knife clean between each cut for a neat presentation.
9. Continue the process until all the ingredients are used.
10. Serve the kimbap with soy sauce for dipping and enjoy!

Note: You can customize the fillings according to your preference, adding ingredients like bulgogi, spinach, or imitation crab sticks.
