mando for 2 people kimchi recipe

Kimchi Mando Recipe (2 servings):

Ingredients:
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup warm water
– 1/4 cup kimchi, finely chopped
– 1/4 cup tofu, crumbled
– 2 green onions, finely chopped
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
– 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
– 1/2 teaspoon sugar
– Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking sequence:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and warm water. Mix until it forms a smooth dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
2. In another bowl, mix the kimchi, tofu, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Set aside.
3. After 15 minutes, divide the dough into two equal portions. Take one portion and roll it out into a thin circle, about 6-7 inches in diameter.
4. Place half of the kimchi mixture in the center of the rolled-out dough.
5. Using your fingers, gather the edges of the dough and pinch them together at the top, sealing the filling inside. Repeat with the second portion of dough and remaining filling.
6. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the mando into the pan, making sure the sealed side is facing down.
7. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until both sides are crispy and golden brown.
8. Remove the mandos from the pan and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
9. Repeat steps 6-8 for the remaining mando.
10. Serve hot and enjoy the delicious kimchi mando!

Note: You can serve the mandos with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce, rice vinegar, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds, if desired.
