Google Cloud’s Vertex AI is evaluated as the core of a ‘useful AI strategy’ and serves as a platform to help Google Cloud customers develop apps based on AI technology or learn their own AI models. Similarly, Amazon Web Services (AWS)’s Bedrock aims to enable businesses to use its cloud computing services by providing useful AI tools and platforms.
A variety of cloud vendors are moving along this path, and cloud AI platforms must provide more and better AI models to remain competitive.
Google Cloud has added Meta’s recently released language models ‘Rama 2’ and Antropic’s ‘Claude 2’ to Vertex AI, and is providing more than 100 AI models through Model Garden. Recently, from April to July, the number of Google Cloud’s Vertex AI generative AI customer projects increased more than 150 times, and 70% of unicorn companies in the generative AI field revealed that they are using Google Cloud.
