According to the announcement on the 13th, the first unprecedented auction of unreleased music will be held at SK v1 Tower in Seongsu on the 21st. This event is hosted by Summit Play, Korea’s first unreleased music trading service, and was made possible by Summit Play’s idea of considering music as artistic content.
Summit Play was inspired by the fact that music and art are both artistic content that people enjoy, and that they can be objects of trade legally bound by a common right called copyright. However, this unreleased music auction will not simply be a place for trading, but will be a space for experiencing and enjoying cultural and artistic content. As a VIP event, this unreleased music auction, in which representatives and celebrities of each company are invited, will also be operated as a social event and entertainment for VIPs.
To this end, the auction house will provide a variety of food and alcohol, and in addition to events, entertainment will be provided through classical performances, performances by famous DJs, and exhibitions of music by composers.
At this event, songs by diverse and talented composers are scheduled to be released, attracting even greater attention. Unreleased music created by composers who are leading the industry, including former idol composers, current idol singers, and famous composers, will be presented as auction items. In addition to composer Park Hae-un’s famous songs, original songs including compositions by various artists such as Davichi, Park Hyo-shin, Taeyeon, DJ-Doc, Monday Kids, Super Junior, and Cool will be released.
